Meadowbrook Village

Meadowbrook Village was developed by John Preston Travis III in the early 1970’s from a 10 acre section of land that was reserved by John Preston Travis II when Mediterranean Gardens + Sylvania Dells were first developed. Meadowbrook Village lies along East Prong Dixon Branch across from from Sylvania Dells and was advertised promoting private wooded lots. Travis partnered with various architects to build some homes while selling off other lots to architects who in turn built homes, Combined Construction also built innovative homes in this section while Henry S Miller acted as sales agent. Several homes were awarded the National Medallion for excellence in electric living.

Among the 21 homes on Meadowcliff Circle that comprise Meadowbrook Village are significant homes designed by Ju-Nel, Glenn Arden, and Robert Murray.
